This is a Common Dilemma: Giving Names to Your Characters

Though, it’s been a while that I have written a fiction story, I must admit that like any other writers–I find some difficulty giving the perfect names for my characters. At times, I get stuck with my only basis–the Christian names, its etymology and all. But still, I find myself in a common dilemma and only to really find out that there really is no hard-rule in creating names for the characters of my story.

I admire J.K. Rowling for the names she gave to all the characters, animals, the magical-related items in her Harry Potter novels. Actually, I kind of agree with what she said once in a Commencement Exercises, “… we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better.” 🙂

So, here is an article I stumbled online and I want to share it with you guys.
