SNAPSHOTS: Hue with Words II

Yes, after seven years – it’s back!

Are you a writer who craves to have a respite from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila? Do you need an opportunity to jumpstart your creativity in a different setting? Snapshots: HUE with Words is back this May 2011.

Date is still to be announced.

It’s going to be fun and exciting; a festive getaway and a workshop-in-one that will unleash the writer within you.

Rich in cultural backdrop, Quezon province is considered as the 6th largest province. It promises an enticing attraction for tourists and old visitors alike. The Pahiyas sa Lucban is one of the highlights of this province, where the procession of the patron saint, Isidro Labrador and the picturesque town adorns with colorful crafts such as kiping, hats and suman in their houses serve as an expression of thanks for rich bounty granted to all during the year.

The workshop’s objectives are:

  • To bring out the writer’s creativity
  • To help writers reach out to their readers through words that awaken the five senses
  • To comprehend and explore human emotions and the human condition
  • To capture engaging shots that match with words that leap from the pages
  • To experience the province’s lush heritage
  • The workshop is set in Quezon province particularly in Tiaong and Lucban.
