‘Mamma Mia!’ turns Manila venue to a Dance Floor

The success of the ‘Mama Mia!’ musical is no doubt to be credited to the songs popularized by the hit Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 called ABBA. It comprised Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Like any other audience in the world that the production has toured to, Manila has been thrilled and hooked to flock on its opening night at Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo, Cultural Center of the Philippines, CCP Complex, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City on Tuesday night, January 24, 8pm.
