QUEZON CITY, Philippines – On Monday, November 12, Knorr, a Unilever brand recently renewed its partnership contract with Marvin Agustin, the actor turned accomplished restaurateur-chef as its celebrity-endorser, held at Patio Carlito, White House on Mother Ignacia Avenue corner Eugenio Lopez Drive, Quezon City.
Apart from Agustin, the contract signing was attended by Seanta Reyes, senior brand manager of Knorr, Annabelle Borja-Regalado, Agustin’s manager, and Maria Teresa Agustin, Agustin’s mom.
Prior to sealing the said partnership, two batches of TV5’s upcoming reality singing show titled ‘Kanta Pilipinas’ (KP), which Agustin will also be part of. Another set of KP performed after the signing.
Being part of Knorr family, he concoct dishes that highlight how Knorr products e.g., Sinigang sa Sampaloc, Original Mix, Knorr Cubes, and Ginataang Gulay Mix–which he himself used for the dishes he served for the traditional and online media who attended the momentous event.
“Unilever is very happy with Marvin. This signing is more of a renewal of the partnership we first had,” Reyes emphasized.
“Marvin Agustin is one of our succesful endorsers and we are glad to have him with us.”
A question was thrown to Agustin, if what are the ingredients of his success as a restaurateur-chef, he was quick to reply, “I put in a lot of hard work. I am determined. And I rise early in the morning.”
