NEWPORT CITY, Pasay, Philippines – The country’s first one-stop, non-stop entertainment, and leisure destination Resorts World Manila (RWM) held a kick-off pool party titled ‘Epic Summer’ on Saturday, April 13 at Maxim’s Pool, Level 5, Maxims Hotel that featured the magic of Zlwin Chew and fashion show.
Apart from the beauteous female models and hunky male models who graced the event, Sinyma, Mr. Marcus, and DJ Ngelik from Spain also had their respective performances to provide not just fun, but to sizzle the guests and audience to have a party that can’t be compared to any other integrated resort.
Other enticing promos and attractions complement RWM’s ‘Epic Summer’, including the ‘Millionaire’s Month’ promo with over 21 million pesos in prizes held at the casino area, hotel promos from RWM signature hotels—Remington and Maxims, enticing dining offers, including Filipino-themed restaurant named ‘Mercado’s’ at Php188 for buffet and Cantonese fine dining restaurant Passion’s all-you-can-eat dimsum at Php750.
RWM pioneers the lifestyle hub’s Epic Summer Sundown Sounds that creates an anthology of multi-genre rock and pop acts to perform for guests without charge at the spacious Newport Mall Plaza starting today, April 15, 5pm onwards.
The RWM Sundown Sounds opens with the muses of the local alternative scene, Barbie Almalbis and Kitchie Nadal plus Reggae godfathers Tropical Depression on April 15th; Pupil and Urbandub on the 16th; Rocksteddy and Soul Republic on the 22nd; and Itchyworms plus Amistad on the 23rd.
On the fourth week, it will showcase more hot topic bands including the infectious Sandwich and pop-fueled Moonstar 88 on the 26th; classic Pinoy band The Dawn takes centerstage with the folk/wave psychedelia of Join The Club on the 27th; Spongecola and Save Me Hollywood on the 28th; Up Dharma Down and Tanya Markova on the 29th; and Franco and Indio I on the 30th.
Allan Lindo Pineda Jr. a.k.a. Apl.d.ap of Black-Eyed Peas also graced the kick-off pool party, which ended at 11pm.
