The first play is titled ‘The Legion’ and is only about 15 minutes long. It tackles about a bunch of super-villains trying to form a team despite all hating each other. While his second play is titled ‘The Attack of the Shakespeare Fairy’ will run for an hour or so and is about high school kids who summon a mystical being to help them with their Shakespeare homework and found themselves on disastrous results.

Trinidad is known for his comedy plays and was quick to claim, “Comedy is just my default language, I guess.”

The two plays are workshop productions, thus not having elaborate costumes or sets. But what makes these plays tick? It’s a master class for working actors, the cast is quite impressive, which it includes some of the young talented theater artists: Reb Atadero of ‘The Graduate’, Bibo Reyes of ‘Avenue Q’ (Singapore) and ‘Rock of Ages’), Arya Herrera of ‘The King and I’, and among others.

Both plays are part of Repertory Philippines’ annual summer workshop activities and are written and directed by Trinidad.

Tickets are sold at Php250 and are available at the entrance.
