Apart from promoting Resorts World Manila and Ultimate Entertainment’s recently launched coffee table book titled ‘Something Wonderful’, I will be heading to Newport Performing Arts Theater on Saturday, May 25 at 2pm to witness the final show of the other Anna and the King–Shiela Valderrama-Martinez and Bo Cerrudo.

Indeed, this all-Filipino cast production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s well-loved musical has brought 138 wonderful shows directed by Freddie Santos.

The said production, will soon be replaced by another fairy tale story of ‘Cinderella’, which will open in October this year.

‘Something Wonderful’ coffee table book is designed by the award-winning visual communications agency Studio 5. It captured the moods and the ambiance of what went on and off the stage during the almost a year performances or run and also showcased the profiles of men and women behind this phenomenal hit show. Also, the coffee table book ‘Something Wonderful’ is available at all National Bookstore outlets nationwide at Php3,500.

‘The King and I’ bagged the 2012 Aliw Award for Best Musical Production.
