4 Meddling Sisters in a Wedding Flick


Star Cinema on its 20th Anniversary brings together four of the country’s lovely and most bankable female stars in one film that will surely warm the hearts of Filipinos; as Toni Gonzaga, Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, and Shaina Magdayao play the meddling sisters of Enchong Dee in Cathy Garcia Molina’s flick ‘Four Sisters and a Wedding’.

The story is a simple as it revolves around four sisters and their youngest sibling who broke the news that he’s finally getting married. Because of the sudden news, the maid in Spain Teddie (Gonzaga), the New Yorker Bobbie (Alonzo), the so-called black sheep Alex (Locsin), and the old maid Gabbie (Magdayao) were reunited and determined to stop the wedding of their only brother CJ (Dee).

However, in the course of their efforts of to end the possibility of making the wedding realized–all four sisters found themselves in a situation that affect their relationships altogether. Instead of trying to fix the wedding of their brother–it turned out that they themselves need some fixing when it comes to their respective relationships and their relationship toward each other as sisters.

In the cast are Connie Reyes, Carmi Martin, Boboy Garrovillo as the parents. ‘Four Sisters and a Wedding’ is slated to open in theatres nationwide on June 26, a Wednesday.
