After she was named the grand winner of ‘X-Factor Israel’, the Filipina caregiver—Rose Fostanes is now a legitimate recording artist and has recently launched her debut album on Sunday, July 8 at ABS-CBN’s ‘ASAP 19’ where she performed her carrier single titled ‘Bakit Ako Mahihiya’, which was once popularized by one of the country’s Jukebox Queens, the late Didith Reyes.
She recently held her press launch at Sir Boy’s Food Republique.
Fostanes’s album—‘My Way’ is released under Star Records. It also features three soulful renditions of other timeless hits and videoke favorites, including—‘This Is My Life’, ‘Rain’, ‘Forever’s Not Enough’, and her winning piece, ‘My Way’. Original tracks, namely: ‘Ris’ and ‘If this is Love’ are also included in the album.
Despite her age, she is glad and grateful that she has been given such chance to live her biggest dream of becoming a singer and the Israeli version of the British television music competition ‘The X Factor’, which was created by Simon Cowell proved to be providential venue for her to show what she really is made of. Her employer-patient back in Israel also supported what she wanted to do in her life.
Apart from singing, Fostales wants to try it out in Philippine showbusiness doing comedy roles, if given the chance.
