‘Pure Love’ ends with a Stirring Conclusion


Despite the fresh ensemble of the said show titled ‘Pure Love’ when it was introduced with only the success of the Korean version of which, the series proved to have earned a great success as it invaded the early evening slot on ABS-CBN primetime as it ended with a ‘stirring conclusion’ on Friday, November 14.

For four months or so of being aired since it premiered on July7 it made sure to hook its avid viewers till its conclusion. It provided a different twist, a more Filipino-accepted-type-of-ending as it highlighted the value of true love and the strong ties that bind a Filipino family. The two leads—Diane Santos-Martinez (Alex Gonzaga) and Ysabel Espiritu or Danica Santos (Yen Santos) found their respective happiness.

The top-rating drama series was directed by Veronica Velasco as her first soap. It also featured Arron Villaflor, Arjo Atayde, Joseph Marco, Yam Concepcion, Anna Luna, Sunshine Cruz, John Arcilla, Ana Capri, Bart Guingona, Dante Ponce, and Shey Bustamante.

The series simply gave a simple, but a more impactful statement of choosing to love, to forgive, and to be happy that will create a ripple and affect everyone.
