He was discovered by Direk Maryo J. Delos Reyes in 1998 during a graduation party held at Studio 56 Resort in Pansol, Laguna and today, apart from his good looks, he is one of the country’s most sensitive, excellent actors ontage, film, and television. His latest onstage assignment was Tanghalang Pilipino’s production titled ‘Pahimakas ng Isang Ahente’, based on Arthur Miller’s play ‘Death of a Salesman’ translated by Rolando Tinio, and directed by Chris Millado. Through the said production, he then earned the nomination for Best Crossover Artist at 2014 BroadwayWorld.com Philippines Awards.

He is pitting against three other crossover artists—Francheska Farr of GMA Artist Center for her appearance in 9 Works Theatrical’s ‘Grease’ and Timmy Pavino via Julie Borromeo Arts Foundation’s ‘The Fantasticks’.

Today, apart from doing television series and movies, he serves as the Councilor for Metro Manila’s third district.

Some of his most recent films were ‘Rosario’ (2010), ‘Kingpin: Story of Asiong Salonga’ (2011), ‘El Presidente’ (2012) and ‘Porno’ (2013). Only lately this year, he pitted acting with the Philippines’ Superstar—Nora Aunor in a psychological-horror-drama flick titled ‘Dementia’, directed by Perci Intalan.
