The 13-year-old Internet sensation who used to dream of having a musical career and perform covers songs of popular artists and ‘Pinoy Big Brother 737’ 4th Teen Big Placer Bailey May is now a certified recording artist via his first-ever self-titled album under Star Music; as he launched it via a bloggers conference today, January 19.
Better known as the ‘Global Gwapito of UK’ is blessed to have worked with Inspirational Diva—Jamie Rivera, who served as his album’s overall album producer. He also mentioned that Rivera gave her two tips regarding the industry and singing.
“She said that I have to be grounded. And when I sing, I should feel the song I am singing.”
In the album, Jamie also composed two tracks, the catchy songs ‘Can You Be My Girl’ and Bailey’s first single—‘Gusto Kita’.
‘Bailey’ includes minus one versions of all the tracks, and can now be streamed on Spotify and will soon be available at all record bars nationwide. Digital tracks can also be downloaded via leading record stores all over the country and in online music stores such as iTunes, mymusicstore.com.ph, Amazon.com, and StarMusic.ph.
His fans and those who belong to this present generation will also definitely love the Hip Hop-laced ‘Boom goes My Heart’, the sparkling ‘Now We’re Together’ the inspiring ‘Gotta Win’ and Bailey’s version of ‘Build Me Up, Buttercup’.
According to Bailey, the first Tagalog song he learned was Daniel Padilla’s hit song ‘Nasa Iyo na ang Lahat’.
