The Ex Battalion or Ex B for short, a Filipino hip hop collective known for their hit single, ‘Hayaan Mo Sila’ which peaked as number two in the Philippine Billboard’s Top 20 hits; and the group is the latest brand ambassadors of Rough Rider Jeans or RRJ; as they recently signed up with the said brand on Thursday, March 15 at Ai Sarap Express on Sgt. Esguerra corner Mother Ignacia, in Diliman, Quezon City.

Elijah Wood once said, “I think being different, going against the grain of society is the greatest thing in the world.”
Because of the unique talents of Ex Battalion members—they were able to have their other song peaked, ‘No Games’ reached number 10 also in the Philippine Billboard. The collective was originally formed as a musical group by Bosx1ne, who mostly writes the hooks of each of their songs and Flow-G. Later members include JRoa, an Internet sensation; Jon Gutierrez, who is also known as the ‘King Badger’; Emcee Rhenn, Brando, KentMNL, Bullet-D and Mckoy.
The collective gained prominence nationwide after releasing several hit songs.
To date, they are dubbed as the most successful hip-hop collective in the country in the mainstream with their music video hits counting to almost three hundred million on YouTube. Following the departure of JRoa, who recently changed his screen name to John Roa, the collective released their hit single that debuted in the Philippines’ Top 20 chart and landed in number five spot.
Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas is the newest manager of the group. After signing up with Ms. delas Alas, offers came their way. In fact they are thrilled to do a US Tour soon.
In their collaboration with RRJ, one member shared: “Our swag, color coordination, that’s all going to be seen in our fashion collaboration with RRJ. We will have limited edition items which we will be working with them soon. We want to make our name right, we talk about it, we don’t want to fight, we started in an amateur rap contest, knew each other, we were in different groups but happen to know each other so we formed as Ex members of previous groups.”

MANILA, Philippines – On Tuesday, September 29, the 27-year-old actress-comedienne and a loyal user of Proactiv for six years now—Alex Gonzaga was launched as the first Filipina face of the said skin care product at Buddha-Bar Manila, Picar Place Residences, Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City.
According to Gonzaga, it was her male cousin who introduced her to use Proactiv. She was in the US back then and tried the product out of desperation to find a quick treatment for her skin getting into a breakout.
As a celebrity and living a quite stressful life due to long hours of tapings, shootings and never-ending mall shows plus the heavy makeups that her face has to endure; Proactiv solution has been a big help in maintaining her skin fresh and healthy-looking. She guarantees that with the said product, the mild formulation gently exfoliates the skin (including hers), removes excess oil and delivers powerful acne-fighting medicine.
Since then, whenever she encounters friends, workmates, or acquaintances in and out of the entertainment industry who have skin problems, she easily recommends Proactiv.
“She is beautiful, spontaneous and hip, making her perfect for the brand,” says Mari del Rosario, general manager of Proactiv Philippines.
Alex promotes Proactiv 3-Step System as a daily skin care routine, which consists of Renewing Cleanser (an oil-free, soap-free medical exfoliating cleanser that eradicates acne-causing bacteria), Revitalizing Toner (a refreshing alcohol-free toner that refines and purifies pores), and a feather-light, invisible medicated treatment called Repair Treatment.
Proactiv is now available at Watsons nationwide with a 30-day kit and a 60-day kit, respectively.
