Music Museum, Greenhills played host to the second concert of the #HaranaPrince—Michael Pangilinan on Friday, March 18, dubbed as ‘Michael Really Sounds Familiar’.
During that evening, the young singer-and-recently turned actor is evidently at ease on the stage and his voice has clearly and has become a more familiar sound to his audiences and even to those who came because of curiosity. Pangilinan showed a different range of his voice as he belted some great songs that made most of his female fans shriek every time he came onstage to perform.
The concert has proven the first runner-up placer of ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar Season Two’ that he can already pull through not just having to show his capacity to hit high notes, but he is all set to conquering a bigger venue to perform on.
He was supported by his guest performers, the likes of Jeffrey Hidalgo of former ‘Smokey Mountain’ fame and now a filmmaker; gay standup comedians—Ate Gay and Boobay; with the special performances of Garie Concepcion; and a surprise duet of Ms. Denise Laurel, ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’ grand winner.
The singer’s debut film ‘Pare Mahal Mo Raw Ako’ is set on a May 4 playdate and he will be sharing the limelight with another ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’ alumnus and a versatile actor and performer—Edgar Allan Guzman.
