Since February is better known as the Hearts’ Month (Buwan ng mga Puso) and it is when people celebrate Valentine’s Day, which falls on the 14th day; the 16-year-old StarStudio magazine fittingly persuaded the former winner of a talent search called ‘Mr. Pogi’ via a noontime show and now an accomplished actor, a loving father to his son Santino and husband to Kim Jones—Jericho Rosales as its cover story.
The magazine’s valued readers as well as the fans of Echo, who have supported him from the beginning of his showbiz career until today (which he celebrates his 20 years in the industry that has welcomed him and has provided him more color and flare in life) will definitely have a good read as they go through the pages of the current issue.
Apart from that, Rosales, who recently won the Best Actor in last year’s controversial 41st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) for his organic portrayal of a man who is deeply in love with his girlfriend—Mia (played by Jennylyn Mercado, who also won the Best Actress award) and had a hard time opening himself about his health condition that eventually led to death in the film ‘#WalangForever‘; the magazine was able to feature the actor’s son—Santino and his wife Kim, a Filipino-British model who grew up in Australia.
Relive Jericho’s journeys as a simple dreamer and now is living a ‘happy life’. To read more about Rosales’s story, buy the latest issue of StarStudio magazine available in all leading bookstores, magazine stands and even in convenience stores.
The magazine issue was launched on January 29 at b Hotel in Quezon City.
It has been a long while that I stopped writing for glossy magazines and the opportunity came my way when I was asked by Eksena Magazine‘s editor-in-chief to cover an event and write about it.
Who would resist the chance?
I miss it and on the publication’s latest issue, I wrote not just one, but four articles including the cover story about James Reid and Nadine Lustre.
