The newest Guitar Underwear endorser–Jake Cuenca was launched on March 17 at Cities Events Place on Esguerra Street, Quezon City.
After his successful sexy-drama teleseries titled–‘Pasion de Amor’ on Kapamilya network, he regained his confidence and drive to push further his creative side and the 50-year-old company–A. Le Paul Incorporated was there to help him realize such.
Cuenca is glad to say that from his previous undergarment endorsement, he had a good relationship with the company and his exit was not tainted with anything at all. Also with his current endorsement, he is much involved in the creative process.
“I have creative control with Guitar Underwear.”
Guitar Underwear and Jake Cuenca have a couple of things in common, but most notably, quality. One last thing.. they both #daretobegreat.
On March 22, a Tuesday, at Iceberg’s on Timog Avenue, just as the smoldering heat of summer sun, that afternoon, four of GMA-7 Kapuso male talents were introduced to selected entertainment bloggers. The equally charming and oozing with irresistible appeals were Prince Villanueva, Jak Roberto, Elyson De Dios and James Teng.
Individually, the said young stars have already proven themselves somehow that they have what it takes to compete in the colorful world of entertainment.
Villanueva, Roberto and De Dios are currently part of different Kapuso network shows. Prince is a mainstay of a daytime romantic-drama titled—‘Wish I May’ with the #BiGuel tandem, while Jak plays the third wheel in the loveteam of Bea Binene and Derrick Monasterio in another series—‘Hanggang Makita Kang Muli’, and Elyson on the other hand is included in the comedy-drama series—‘Poor Señorita’ with Regine Velasquez as the lead star. Only James is yet to be assigned to an upcoming project; and yet his surname is easily associated with basketball legend Alvin Teng as well as to—Jeric Teng and Jeron Teng.
These four are predicted to make waves with their respective brand of talents as well as unique personalities.
Personally, I find the upcoming limited edition tops of BUM dubbed as ‘Comikon’ series very timely and appealing not just to me, but especially to its intended market–the youth.
For me, coming up with a collection like this is reflective of what Spanish-Mexican cartoonist and writer, who is best known for his contributions to Mad Magazine and creator of the comic book ‘Groo the Wanderer’–Sergio Aragonés Domenech have once said, “Comics is a great medium to get a lot of stories out.”
When one gets to wear such tops–it will definitely project the kind of animals that the wearer would best identify with because of its ‘positive’ traits and there’s always a story behind the choice.
Soon to be released on October 16, get it from all BUM boutiques nationwide. For updates, LIKE its facebook page.
