Each year, most of us get to list New Year’s Resolutions. Some are successful in meeting their goals, some aren’t. Last year, I actually haven’t listed anything that I would like to do, but as the months went by in 2013, I just realized two things that probably I bravely did.
Oh well, apart from cleaning up the clutter in my social media account contacts (it was best) to really know who I can really keep for years and shut-off permanently to avoid any negativity; or at least lessen it.
Most of my friends do know me that I don’t really go ga-ga in seeing myself on television. I could vividly remember when a crew member of a show that featured Kris Aquino as host, I really panicked and didn’t want to see myself on national television–when they entered our office. I just hid myself.
But, two days before my birthday, when some of my blogger-friends prodded me to join two other bloggers–Jerhwin and Adrian as part of Showtime’s audience–I struggled a bit. But with Ning and Nikole‘s encouragement–I just went ahead and agreed on what Sweet Lapus normally would say: MIGHT AS WELL. At least, for the first time. Frankly, I did enjoy it. I was glad that I gave in to Flow‘s invite.
But hey, all along I was sharing all what I did in 2013, what about you guys? Do you have anything you want to DARE yourself to do for this year?
As for me, along with another friend Vic, we DARE to produce a FREE POCKET publication, very soon…
Let me add this quote from C. JoyBell C., “No, this is not the beginning of a new chapter in my life; this is the beginning of a new book! That first book is already closed, ended, and tossed into the seas; this new book is newly opened, has just begun! Look, it is the first page! And it is a beautiful one!”

PEOPLE who have watched and enjoyed the 2002 film titled Maid in Manhattan may likewise be enthralled by ABS-CBN Channel 2’s Please be Careful with My Heart, which stars Richard Yap as Sir Chief, the love interest of Maya, portrayed by Jodi Sta. Maria.
Many say Yap is the Philippines’ answer to Ralph Fiennes who starred in the 2002 movie Maid in Manhattan, which also featured Jennifer Lopez. Is Yap anywhere near the status of matinee idol Fiennes?
Perhaps not, but don’t tell that to the Filipino channel viewers – and there are many of them around the world – who simply cannot get enough of Yap. More likely, they are fascinated by his portrayal of Sir Chief.

Every Christmas, these two largest networks (let’s not talk about TV5)—GMA-7 and ABS-CBN 2 always try to outdo each other with their concept and execution of their respective Christmas station IDs.
Judging from the insider’s tip, Kapuso’s ‘Sundan Natin ang Bituin Pabalik sa Kanyang Piling’ was rumored to be well-thought of and had a longer preparation as opposed to Kapamilya’s ‘Magkasama Tayo sa Kuwento ng Pasko’, but the former lacked the ‘heart’ and gave a more literal and ancient-like interpretation of what Christmas is all about.
