Being ‘invisible’ is one of the things I wanted to be, but as a writer, my words do not allow it. Somewhere, I am still drawn to let my presence be felt even just online. With the gift and the acquired skills, combined, I am compelled to express my thoughts through words. However, I am reminded that I have this great responsibility to fulfill, to inspire people, to move people to make a ‘stand‘ or act on certain issues and stuff.
I invite you to join me in this journey and together let us make a difference as we make our lives more meaningful with daily interactions and all. Just like anyone else, I am a work-in-progress.
I am Jude Cartalaba, a modern-day scribe who chronicles about life, about people making ‘good’ stories to create an impact in the lives of fellow human beings. 🙂
To quote J.K. Rowling, “I’ve been writing my entire life, and I’ll always write.”
One of my favorite quotes from Natalie Goldberg is: “There is no excuse. If you want to write, write. This is your life, you are responsible for it. You will not live forever. Don’t wait. Make the time now.”
I used to contribute for Philippine Daily Inquirer, BusinessMirror, magazines like StarStudio, Illustrado, Rappler.com, ABS-CBNNews.com, and Eksena magazine.–to name a few.
Currently, I write for BroadwayWorld.com Philippines. Apart from being a writer, I facilitate writing workshops, and do creative marketing and PR work.

I keep on reading your articles. You’re so profound and prolific, having such vast archive! I want to be an internet writer like you. I am a newbie writer (but certainly not a neophyte blogger) who lurks the internet for freelance writing jobs. 😀 Maybe this is futile for me since I am a still a student struggling to become a CPA someday, with hopes of becoming a true, ‘hardcore’ writer/novelist, a cat expert and a political figure (jokes). Anyways, I really do like the way you present your articles. Master! You’re a pro. I hope you could also read my blog. http://sacred-resurrect.blogspot.com
I will keep in touch with your website!
Thank you for dropping or following my blog entries. See you around. Will find time to visit your page, too. 🙂
You’re the man, Jude. BWW PH loves you!
I will always love BWW, Oliver. 🙂
i looked at the “selected articles” page. proud of you, jude. 🙂
Thanks Let.
I am humbled.
have you written articles on social responsibility stuff?
Yes, I did. I used to write for a non-governmental organization. 🙂
Love it!
Thanks for following my blog. 🙂
The quote you shared really got me! I am the type of writer who waits on inspiration to happen. Well, mostly because I write poetry and poetry can be very challenging to write. But as the quote says, there is no excuse. I used to write in the school paper too (in high school and college) and I’m afraid that I have wasted much of my resources back then.
But I am trying to rekindle my passion in writing again. Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
