Being ‘invisible’ is one of the things I wanted to be, but as a writer, my words do not allow it. Somewhere, I am still drawn to let my presence be felt even just online. With the gift and the acquired skills, combined, I am compelled to express my thoughts through words. However, I am reminded that I have this great responsibility to fulfill, to inspire people, to move people to make a ‘stand‘ or act on certain issues and stuff.

I invite you to join me in this journey and together <strong>let us make a difference</strong> as we make our lives more meaningful with daily interactions and all. Just like anyone else, I am a work-in-progress.

I am Jude Cartalaba, a modern-day scribe who chronicles about life, about people making ‘good’ stories to create an impact in the lives of fellow human beings. 🙂

To quote J.K. Rowling, “I’ve been writing my entire life, and I’ll always write.”

One of my favorite quotes from Natalie Goldberg is: “There is no excuse. If you want to write, write. This is your life, you are responsible for it. You will not live forever. Don’t wait. Make the time now.”

I used to contribute for Philippine Daily Inquirer, BusinessMirror, magazines like StarStudio, Illustrado, Rappler.com, ABS-CBNNews.com, and Eksena magazine.–to name a few.

Currently, I write for BroadwayWorld.com Philippines. Apart from being a writer, I facilitate writing workshops, and do creative marketing and PR work.
